1. A written quotation
Unit price, total, Incoterm, validity period and payment terms in writing. Not a price "range subject to discussion".
2. A specification sheet
NaCl, moisture, insolubles, heavy metals, grain range, packing and shelf life the document your QA team will ask for anyway.
3. A lead time
Production days and indicative transit, stated as a range, with what would make it slip. Monsoon season and Q4 both do.
4. A sample proposal
What we will send, how fast, and what it costs to courier credited back against your first order.
Under 25 kg, municipal de-icing in North America, 40+ containers a month of one SKU, or stock needed in under three weeks those are all cases where someone else serves you better, and we would rather tell you on day one than three weeks in.
